The next season of Fortnite is going to start soon. The game will have an exciting new storyline and new locations. However, there will also be some downtime between seasons. Here are some things to keep in mind about this time.
Star Wars content
If you are a fan of Fortnite and the Star Wars franchise then you have probably heard of the upcoming Chapter 3 Season 3. However, you might not know much about what’s in store. Here’s a brief rundown of some of the new features and mechanics.
For instance, there are now five Star Wars-themed objectives to complete during the game. You’ll also have the opportunity to fight the evil forces of the dark side on the island. The best part is, there are plenty of iconic Star Wars weapons to use.
While we can’t confirm any details yet, it’s likely that Epic Games will announce some sort of surprise when the next season begins. This could be an introduction of new content, such as an upcoming character, or a continuation of the popular Spider-Man storyline. It’s possible that we’ll get some new skins, too.
And don’t forget to check out the new Star Wars chests that have just appeared. These Imperial Chests contain some of the most powerful items in the game.
Lightsabers
The legendary Star Wars weapon, the lightsaber, is making its way to Fortnite. As part of the Star Wars event, Epic Games has added a variety of Star Wars-themed quests and challenges. You can also find some Star Wars goodies in Fortnite!
Lightsabers are one of the Mythic Melee Weapons in Fortnite. They deal heavy damage and can be used to block shots from opponents. Depending on the model of the lightsaber, you will get 25 to 150 damage. In addition, the lightsaber will knock down most walls with a few hits.
These lightsabers can be found in four different types. Those types include Luke’s Blue and Green Lightsaber, Darth Vader’s Red Lightsaber, Luke’s Stormtrooper Lightsaber and Darth Vader’s Saber. Although each one has the same damage rate, there are slight differences in weapon animations and stats.
To access the lightsabers, you must use the aim button on your controller. Hold it down for three seconds. Once you have achieved this, you will be able to swing your lightsaber.
Until May 17, the Star Wars event will feature a variety of items and content for players to use in their battle royales. Players can expect more Star Wars-themed goods and challenges to come in the future.
Indiana Jones
If you are a fan of the video game Fortnite, you are probably curious about when does Chapter 3 start and end. The good news is, there is no set date, but there is plenty of information out there.
A new season usually starts within 24 hours of the previous one ending. This is because the developers have a habit of switching between them on weekends.
While the Fortnite battle pass is a great way to get started with the game, you may have more luck trying to unlock the rewards. In this case, you can unlock the best rewards by completing the most important ones. Depending on where you are playing, you may need to spend gold bars or wait until the next morning to start playing.
There are also other ways to score some extra goodies. One of these is the Fortnite x Indiana Jones event. It’s a collaboration with the popular Disney tv series, and if you play well, you’ll earn some cool stuff along the way.
To play the Fortnite x Indiana Jones ad, you’ll need to complete a handful of challenges and tasks. The rewards include a special pickaxe and an emote. You can find them on the map, near the Rocky Reels and the Joneses.
For the most part, the Fortnite x Indiana Jones reward is the same as the ones you would get from a regular season. That said, the rewards are a little more difficult. They’ll be on page one of the rewards list, and it is expected that you will have to put in a lot of effort to earn the goodies.
What’s more, it’s likely that you’ll see a resemblance to the characters you already know and love from the show. But they may not stick around.
Darth Vader
Darth Vader is coming to Fortnite Season 3. He was first revealed during the Fortnite Collision live event. It’s been a long time since we’ve had to worry about the Sith Lord, but he’s back!
Darth Vader has a lot of health and is very difficult to take down. He also has a special ability, the Force, that lets him pull players towards him. That means you need to get out of his way and keep moving.
There’s no set location where Darth Vader spawns, so you’ll need to keep an eye out for him when you’re playing. You’ll want to land near his ship, which will appear on the map.
To fight Darth Vader, you’ll need to find a weapon that can withstand his attacks. The best thing to use is a long-range weapon. For example, an E-11 Blaster Rifle is a good choice. However, a Rift-to-Go is another very useful weapon.
You can find the Imperial Docking Bay Eclipse in the southwest portion of the map. Here, you’ll find the only Imperial area on the map.
You can also land on Darth Vader, but you may have to watch out for his ship. Once it appears, it’ll float slowly to the map.
Downtime between seasons
Fortnite is a popular multiplayer game that has been enjoying a great run in recent memory. But now the hit game is entering an extended period of downtime.
Epic Games has been busy preparing for a massive update, which will be released soon. Although the new map and mechanics have been teased, there hasn’t been an official announcement about what’s in store for players. This is a big changeover, so expect downtime to last a while.
During downtime, players can check out the game’s menu screen for a brief summary of what’s going on. It might even tell them when they can return to battle royale. If they don’t get a response from the servers, they can leave the game client open and resume playing in a few hours.
Epic Games has also shared a schedule for the downtime, which will be a couple of hours long. The scheduled downtime normally takes place at 4am ET.
Normally, downtime is short and sweet, but if you’re not keen on laying down the cash to play, don’t worry. You can always download the latest patch once the servers come back up.
